Media Committee
The Media and Health Education Committee of the German-Yemeni Doctors Association is responsible for strengthening the association's media presence and for making its mission, activities and achievements known. At the same time, it spreads knowledge, health awareness and reliable medical information in a simple way that suits all groups of society.
The committee acts as a link between the association, its members, the public and the media – by developing media and educational content, managing communication channels and supporting the events and initiatives organised by the association.
Goals
- Strengthen the association's identity and public image and highlight its role and achievements.
- Manage and develop the association's media content and social media accounts.
- Strengthen communication between the association, its members, the public and the media.
- Cover conferences, seminars, events and activities organised by the association.
- Share reliable medical and health information and help raise health awareness in the community.
- Simplify medical and scientific knowledge into easy-to-understand educational materials.
- Help counter medical and health misinformation.
- Build media relations and partnerships with relevant institutions.
- Document the association's activities and build a media archive that preserves its achievements and history.
- Support the association's media communication during crises and important health occasions.
