This project aimed to improve the quality of health services in Yemen. Initiated as a voluntary contribution from the German-Yemeni Doctors Association (DJÄV), the project sought to strengthen collaboration between DJÄV and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
Project Objectives
- Improve the quality of health services in Yemen by enhancing the knowledge and skills of health workers through continuous education.
- Foster collaboration between DJAV and GIZ in supporting sustainable health system development.
- Promote a culture of lifelong learning within the Yemeni health workforce to ensure service quality and resilience.
Key Activities
- Develop and Deliver Online Learning Modules: Remote training options to reach health workers in underserved and conflict-affected areas.
- Facilitate Exchange of Knowledge and Best Practices: Sharing experiences and clinical updates between German and Yemeni health professionals.
