This project aims to strengthen the healthcare workforce in Yemen by enhancing the technical, clinical, and managerial competencies of health professionals. Given the challenges posed by prolonged conflict, economic decline, and limited access to training, this initiative provides structured capacity-building programs to ensure a resilient and effective health system.
Through a combination of in-person workshops, remote learning modules, and mentorship programs, the project focuses on upskilling healthcare providers in essential areas such as maternal and child health, infection prevention and control (IPC), emergency care, nutrition, and health service quality improvement. Special attention is given to health workers in underserved and conflict-affected regions.
Key Objectives:
- Enhance the knowledge and practical skills of health workers to deliver high-quality services.
- Improve the overall performance and resilience of the health workforce.
- Support sustainable health service delivery through institutional capacity development.
