Participation of the German-Yemeni Medical Association (DJAEV) in the Annual Meeting of the German-Yemeni Friendship Association in Hamburg, Germany

At the official invitation of the German-Yemeni Friendship Association, the German-Yemeni Medical Association (DJAEV) participated in the association’s annual meeting, which was held on Saturday, 16 May 2026, in Hamburg, Germany. The event was attended by a distinguished group of academics and individuals interested in Yemeni affairs and German-Yemeni relations.

DJAEV was represented at the meeting by its Chairman, Dr. Nasser Al-Mulaiki, who delivered an introductory lecture presenting the association’s journey since its establishment, the idea behind its foundation, and the objectives it seeks to achieve in serving the health and medical sector. He also highlighted the association’s key projects and activities in both Yemen and Germany.

The lecture also addressed DJAEV’s efforts to develop health and medical services, its role in supporting medical professionals, and the implementation of initiatives and medical camps that contribute to improving healthcare services in Yemen. These efforts reflect the association’s humanitarian and professional mission.

The lecture received strong engagement and positive feedback from the audience. Participants praised the leading role of the association and its valuable services and initiatives in support of the Yemeni healthcare sector. They expressed their appreciation for the efforts made and wished DJAEV continued success and further expansion in its future activities and projects.

On the sidelines of the meeting, Dr. Nasser Al-Mulaiki met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to Germany, H.E. Loay Al-Eryani. The Ambassador expressed his admiration for the remarkable development achieved by the association in its activities and services, affirming his full support for DJAEV’s events and initiatives. He also expressed the embassy’s readiness to serve as a link between the association’s leadership and the relevant governmental authorities and ministries, thereby facilitating the implementation of DJAEV’s projects and medical camps in Yemen.

Dr. Hilal Noman, Head of Relations and Projects within the association’s administration, also attended the meeting.
